Juventus Defender Stephan Lichtsteiner Extends His Contract Until 2018
Defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has renewed his Juventus contract until 30 June 2018, taking his time with the Serie A club to at least seven years.
The Switzerland international had been left out of the club’s Champions League squad at the start of the season but after Dani Alves broke his leg in November, Lichtsteiner has cemented his place in the Juve defence
Stephan Lichtsteiner has made 162 appearances in all competitions for Juventus
The Switzerland international is one of six current Juventus players to have been part of every one of the club’s five consecutive league titles.
He also won two Italian Cups during that time, adding to the one he won at Lazio.
